Finalists Announced for the 10th FlexSim Competition in Latin America

FlexSim Andina, FlexSim’s distributor in the north Andean region of South America—along with their colleagues across Latin America—are pleased to announce the finalists of the 10th Latin American FlexSim Competition.

The three finalists are the Simulex Team and VITASIM Team, both from the San Francisco University of Quito (Quito, Ecuador), and the SEPROUN Team from the National University of Colombia (Bogotá, Colombia). Beginning back on September 25, 2018, the teams joined others from across Latin America to apply simulation to the logistics industry in an exciting and engaging contest.

First Student Simulation Competition in Tunisia

How can we encourage students to learn problem solving skills through real-world industrial applications? Esprit engineering school in Tunisia has found one answer: organize a student competition.

The event featured 140 students organized into 27 teams, putting their modeling and analysis skills to the test on various topics proposed by industrial local partners—assembly lines of aircraft components, bottling lines, calibration services for quality control, gas station operations, and more.
