Call for papers: SimOpt-SUST 2014 in Poznan, Poland

Professor Pawel Pawlewski is issuing a call for papers for the Simulation and Optimization of Sustainability in Logistics and Manufacturing Systems (SimOpt-SUST 2014) conference, which will be held from July 1-4, 2014 in Poznan, Poland.

The SimOpt-SUST 2014 conference is a forum for sharing ideas, research results, application experiences, etc. associated with the use of simulation and optimization technologies to address sustainability issues in logistics and manufacturing systems. Anyone interested in participating and presenting his/her work at this workshop may do so by submitting a paper related to any of the workshop’s topics.

All submissions must be original unpublished work, in English, and 12-15 pages in length. All accepted conference papers will be published in Springer Verlag’s EcoProduction. Environmental Issues in Logistics and Manufacturing series. In addition, selected papers will be invited for publication in the International Journal of Logistics and SCM Systems (the official journal of the International Federation of Logistics and SCM Systems) after the conference.
