University of Bergamo introduces FlexSim software in classroom
University partners with simulation modeling company to provide industry-standard software to students and professors
Bergamo, Italy, April 25, 2018 – The Department of Management, Information and Production Engineering, University of Bergamo has finalized an agreement with FlexSim Software Products, Inc. to provide 3D simulation modeling software to the university. Students and professors will receive the same industry-standard software used by companies worldwide in the manufacturing, material handling, healthcare, warehousing, mining, and supply chain sectors.

University of Bergamo will receive academic licenses of FlexSim valued at over $80,000 USD, to be used by the Department of Management, Information and Production Engineering. In addition, Flexcon will provide training and specialized support to promote the use of simulation within the university’s engineering courses.
As part of the agreement, University of Bergamo will introduce FlexSim simulation software in its applicable courses, specifically in the area of management and production engineering, and will promote the development of thesis projects based on a simulation approach.
