Getting Ready For Basic Training
The time you spend in Flexsim Basic Training is time well spent. You will learn more about Flexsim in this one week of training than you could learn in months of tinkering on your own. We appreciate the time you're taking to make the most of using Flexsim Simulation Software.
Training Prerequisites
Because we want to maximize your learning during basic training, it is very important that you prepare ahead of time so that you can hit the ground running. We ask that those attending training complete the following before the first day of the course:
- Install Flexsim. If you do not yet have your license, the free trial is available here.
- Activate your copy of Flexsim according to the instructions found on your license.
- Trial version users: follow the installation instructions. You will not have to activate the software.
- Get acquainted with the software.
- Start Flexsim.
- Begin learning the software basics by choosing Help->Getting Started. There you will find an introductory tutorial called "Getting Started".
- Continue past "Getting Started" to the tutorials. The first two lessons (including Lesson 2 Extra Mile) can be completed using the free trial while the third lesson requires the full version.
- Note any specific questions that you may have.
Please contact us if you have any questions or problems with any of the course prerequisites above.
