Default Can FlexSim software be used to simulate a process?

I know that FlexSim software is used for simulation and optimization of manufacturing systems. However, I would like to know whether it can be used for process simulation like the operation of molding processes and turning processes?

If you mean the logistic part of these processes (setting up a machine, taking and bringing products etc, so everything that has to do with time ) the answer is clearly yes.

If you want to simulate the flow of your material in the mold then the answer is no. These are finite element simulations and require completely different models. Then you should look at software like moldflow.

Simulating a turning process is, as far as my knowledge goes, only showing the execution of the program. Unless you have a interpreter in C++ for your particular lathe/mill programming language or you want to write one, I have no idea how Flexsim could help you here.

I saw the bottling plant video. The way the caps are fixed to the bottle, is it possible to show the liquid being poured into the bottle?

It depends on how accurate your animation should be. Firstly your bottle have to be not fully opaque. Then there appears a cylindrical stream from above and larger column rises from the bottle bottom. All that can you do with the object animation. Each new added object can nest a its own animation
