I think a big thing with Flexsim V5 could be to clean up the user interface with emphasis on getting things to behave in the same fashion as the rest the windows world.
Example:
You should be able to tab around fields in an objects properties.
When you tab to the next field, the entire field should be selected so that you can type over the top.
Pressing Enter should have the same effect as pressing OK.

These are just a few examples. The improvements that were done to the tables in V4.5 are a great start!

Thanks,
Jim

Under copy from highlighted, there is no grouping or alphabetizing and the window isn't wide enough for the full names.

How about groups such as "Triggers" and then have them alphabetically under that?
Also it should be a dynamic list showing only those properties available on the highlighted object.

(...) isn't wide enough for the full names.(...)

Not sure if I got you right but there is a function for this since at least v.4.32.

1) Have a check box for each label that does Clear on Reset similar to the one in tables. A good portion of the labels we use need to be zero'd out at reset.
Also a similar checkbox on the Output Console so that you could have it autoClear at reset if you want.

2) A way to view the state of a connection from within the general Tab (Open, Closed, etc). Often in complex models, it is tough to drag things apart to see the state of a connection.
