Hi,

I have an suggestion on the location of the minimized windows.

Currently when the user minimize a window, the minimized windows would be placed at the bottom left counter of the screen, WHICH WILL BE ON TOP OF THE FUNCTIONAL BUTTONS "RESET", "RUN" ETC, if the main program window is the maximum size, which would be annoying.

I suggest the minimized windows would be placed somewhere else which will not cover those buttons.

Kelvin,

This is something we are currently working on for the next release.

Another option would be a status bar similar to the windows bar where you could see a tab for each open window. I run into it a lot where I have multiple windows open and can't find them. See Windows 7 for idea on how to make it look good.

Are you aware that in version 4.5 you can dock your windows together? That way you have 1 window where all your ortho and perspecitive views have there own tab.

Docking windows helps, but where I run into trouble is when I have the properties pages for two or more objects open as well as the ortho window and a code window from one of the triggers. It is easy to get open windows lost behind each other. a tab at the bottom or top that you could easily select the open windows and have them come to the top would sure be handy.

Another option is to use the Window menu at the top of the screen. It lists all of the windows that are currently open. Unfortunately, because it's hiding in a menu, most users tend to forget that it's there. But it will let you bring a specific window to the top.
