How to assign more than one physician to a specific bed?

Hi

I wish to simulate 2 doctors using a consultation room for the morning and afternoon shift. I have a bed/examination table as my patient processing object, and would like to assign the 2 doctors to that bed in shifts (morning and afternoon). How do I go about doing so?

I have used the shift schedules function to assign each doctor to a particular work schedule. However, I have run into 2 problems:

1. How do I assign them to a particular bed for their shift?

2. How do I keep each doctor at his assigned bed for the duration of his work schedule?

Hi,

I am not exactly sure if I understand your question. It seems to me that when you define one BedArea (with more than 1 bed) and one PhysicianGroup (with more than 1 physician) you are able to assign individual physicians but also individual beds to the schedules. So if you define two seperate schedules in wich the physicians and beds are matched it should work. So during one shift only one physician group and one "Bedgroup" will be available.

You could use the downfunction to make the doctor stand by a bed.
